  'Blood Vessel' epitomizes a sad story familiar to Nigerian youths. By Uwakmfon Boniface. This holiday season will feature a release of an interesting title, Blood Vessel, by Chris Okpaleke. This new project mirrors more than just a survival scenario.  The movie focuses on six young Nigerians, played by Jide Kene Achufusi, Adaobi Lilian Dibor, David Ezekiel, Levi Chikere, Obinna Okenwa, Slyvester Ekanem, who are fleeing from the military due to a squall that made them victims. They eventually run away on a ship. However, numerous fights ensue which results in bloodshed and death. Dibor and Ezekiel were casted in the role of a couple who get caught in a commotion through no fault of theirs. During this trying period, they face the risk of separation. 'Blood Vessels' is produced by Fafa Bello Osagie, Roxanne Adekunle-Wright and Agozie Ugwu.   Some Disney fans say the villain's role in the new movie, 'Wish', is almost lacklustre in comparison with its contemporaries in previous times. King Magnifico, who plays the role of a villain in 'Wish', has come under heavy criticism from some fans on TikTok and Reddit. This happened after the character's song surfaced on the internet prior to the release of the movie.  Like Ursula from "The Little Mermaid", King Magnifico engages in sorcery and is also incredibly conceited like Gaston from “Beauty and the Beast." Just as Maleficent from "Sleeping Beauty", his powers are portrayed as a fiendish shade of green. However, some Disney fans are of the opinion that King Magnifico didn't quite act the part.   Shakira concludes a tax agreement with the Government of Spain, with an option of fine worth $19 Million. Renowned singer Shakira finally comes to a tax settlement with the Spanish Government over a tax avoidance case that had dragged on for a considerable number of time. She also made it possible for her to avoid jail and maintain a clean sheet. The Spanish Government has been in a quarry with Shakira for some time over the case of owed taxes worth $15.8 Million. They claimed she should have paid these taxes between 2012 and 2014, during which the singer was alleged to have been staying in Barcelona. Shakira however denied the allegation. Presently, the pop goddess settled with the Government and accepted to pay the total sum of $26.6 million, consisting of back taxes worth $19 million and an equivalent of $7.6 million as a fine. Luxury real estate recently took a downturn in sales but Elton John ducked the deflection. The veteran singer recently made a massive sale off his Atlanta condo. Initially, the house was listed for $4.995 million in September this year. However, it was purchased at the whopping price of $7.2 million. Although mainly residing in England, Elton had owned the condo for years using it as a temporary home while in America. With the singer's North American Farewell Tour just recently concluded, it was no longer necessary to maintain the American "home base."
